This Late Harvest Riesling was made from grapes planted in 1968. Harvested the fourth day of November, the grapes were filled with noble rot giving us a picking Brix of 28 which gave the wine a very aromatic nose with aromas of apricot, honey and candied citrus zest. The wine was aged in a combination of French oak and stainless-steel barrels for ten months. The mouth feel is rich and complex with flavors of dried apricots, cinnamon and cloves that linger on the palate.
