Fruit here was sourced from a couple small vineyards in the Willamette Valley. The fruit was picked and crushed in mid-September. After destemming and cold soaking for 24 hours the juice was inoculated and fermented for eight days. The resulting wine then went into French Oak barrels where it aged for 24 months. The aromas of this wine show signs of bright cherries and currant along with subtle earth notes. The palate has bright fruit with soft tannins and with a gentle finish.
